Types of building façade cleaning services

DOFF cleaning achieves exceptional results, using powerful high temperature steam, heating the water to 150°C to create the most effective steam cleaning system. The pressure and temperature of the water is easily adjusted by the operator, making the DOFF system a versatile solution for a variety of stubborn marks.

CPL t/a Rainbow Restoration have invested in state-of-the-art specialist cleaning equipment and have used the DOFF system on a variety of buildings including high rise buildings, working across a wide range of sectors.

As DOFF uses low pressure, it is a non-destructive cleaning method for all building exteriors. As the water and steam are such high temperatures, it often means chemicals or cleaning products are not required for cleaning buildings, so it can be environmentally friendly as well as an energy efficient façade cleaning solution, with a low carbon footprint. Therefore, it can also be used on many exterior and interior surfaces, including floors, walls, steps, pavements, concrete, stone, cladding, tiles and wood. DOFF cleaning can also be used for paint and graffiti removal, however chemicals may sometimes be required to loosen the paint prior to using the DOFF system; it can even be used to sterilise industrial kitchens, swimming pools, toilets and medical facilities.

The DOFF cleaning system heats up water up to 150°C creating high temperature steam. This is also easily adjustable to ensure even the most difficult of marks can be removed. It is an easy and quick system to use for cleaning, not to mention easily transportable from different locations. Although a form of media blasting, it is a non-destructive cleaning solution andit is unlikely to damage the surfaces targeted. This also means that it can be used on softer materials such as wood and soapstone. Instead, it is the high temperatures that help remove algae, paint, graffiti, limescale etc without disturbing surfaces or structures, as well as oil and grease.
